Being engaged is such an exciting time in your life. The moment that Matt asked me to marry him I was beyond thrilled to start planning our big day. Every conversation we had from that moment was spent learning new things. We constantly giggled over the ideas we had for the big day. While every couple is different, I feel that all couples are constantly growing with one another.
Having an engagement session is a perfect way to document this time! But your photos shouldn’t simply be about what you two look like before your wedding day. It also shouldn’t be just for your save the dates. It should be spent having fun and celebrating the love you two share and the life you are about to build with one another.
One of my absolute favorite engagement sessions was spent a simple airport field. Anastasia and Perry wanted to do something unique, so they made DIY bubbles and brought them along!
After we took some traditional photos, they brought out the bubbles and we spent the rest of their engagement session playing! It was such a blast watching these two see who could make the biggest bubbles.
There are so many ideas that you can play with for your fun engagement session! I’ve had some couples opt to do a picnic on the beach, a bike ride in the park, or even stand-up paddleboarding!
Now that you’ve planned a fun engagement session, let’s look for ideas for your big day!
