In the midst of the pandemic, Madi had been isolating for some time. When the Chiefs made it to the Super Bowl, a friend invited her to a party. They insisted that there was someone she had to meet. That someone was Trevor. From the moment they met, sparks flew. The Chiefs may not have won that night, but Madi and Trevor came out victorious.

A few days later, they had their first date at Brew Lab’s Trivia Night, where, despite not being trivia experts, they laughed and instantly bonded. It was the start of something beautiful—filled with dinners at Trevor’s place, time spent with friends, and sweet moments with Trevor’s dog, Milo.

Falling in Love Over Time

That summer, the two took their first trip to Chicago, where Trevor met Madi’s cousin and her husband. A short while later, Trevor traveled to St. Louis to meet Madi’s entire family, and that’s when it all clicked. Trevor’s kindness and willingness to help Madi’s family, even moving houses with a smile, won everyone over—including Madi, who told Trevor she loved him that weekend. He said it back, and from that moment on, they were inseparable.

Their love only grew stronger, especially after moving in together, where every day felt like a new adventure filled with love, laughter, and shared memories.

A Dream Proposal at Loose Park

Trevor knew that Loose Park was the perfect place for his proposal, and it couldn’t have been more magical. Madi thought she was headed to dinner with friends, but when the car turned into Loose Park, she saw Trevor standing there in a suit. Instantly, she knew what was happening, and their excitement was undeniable. Trevor led her through the park, gave a heartfelt speech, and got down on one knee. Madi said yes, and their families, who had never met, appeared to share in the celebration.

Walking through the park again brought back all the emotions of that unforgettable day. After the sentimental moments in Loose Park, we headed to the heart of downtown Kansas City. This was where we captured Madi and Trevor’s more modern and playful side. Surrounded by the urban energy of the city, we explored some of their favorite spots. One of the highlights? Incorporating pizza into their session! It was the perfect way to capture their fun, laid-back personalities and their love for enjoying life’s simple pleasures together.

Every moment was filled with laughter, from walking through the vibrant streets of Kansas City to sharing slices of pizza. It was a perfect reflection of their relationship—equal parts romance and fun.
